4th Seal boss returns! In this latest SoulMaster stage, Diablo is up for grabs again. Though the very special team of Diablo with Newborn Elves is not really all that useful under normal circumstances, it’s one of those very entertaining things to play with, and does its job very well in stages with overheal requirements!

No special requirements to enter the stage. Just prepare the 50 stamina required and in you go 🙂

The stage cannot be done by Greek teams due to stage 2. There are free skill CD -> 0 boosts on stages 1 and 3, so it strongly suggests the use of high burst teams. This SM bans Heart runes, so no healing can be done by combat means and if you bring offensive converters, they will NOT be able to work unless you first convert other runes to Heart runes beforehand. Since you can activate actives on turn 1, and there is an absence of healing anyways, Cassandra is a very powerful member to have for this stage, since all her disadvantages are negated. Initially, I planned to enter and test out whether such a team will work, but I ended up just completing it with 0 diamonds 😐 Well, it’s an old SM stage, so up-to-date teams shouldn’t have a problem dealing with it.

There are only 2 core cards in this altered Norse team: John and Isabel. John instantly kills the stage 2 egg with skill damage, thus negating the explosion of 20k damage. Isabel deflects the enemy Isabel’s (stage 4) attack which deals 16.5k damage. This is required since she cannot be killed until she does her first attack. The other slots can be filled by whatever you want, really. As mentioned previously, Cassandra is a very good card to have here, especially with Daji, Isabel, Loki and others who have high recovery stat.

Stage 1: 3 turns for you to kill that mermaid. Can be done without any actives if you use some high multiplier with Daji team. If not, use a skill to finish her off, since skill CD -> 0 happens again at stage 3.

Stage 2: Use all the skills you have to kill, since you will get them all back next stage. HOWEVER, DO NOT DISSOLVE ENCHANTED RUNES. Since I brought Odin + Loki, I had to use them on stage 1 and clear all those enchanted Dark runes away. After that, Daji active on this stage will most likely clear it instantly.

Stage 3: Try to kill without actives in 2 turns. It is very possible with some luck with skyfalls. If not, use the mega-converting skills from Odin and Loki.

Stage 4: Kill the egg to stop the poison. Then wait out and store runes until enemy Isabel’s CD is 1. Then, use your Isabel’s active and let the enemy attack. Now, you have 3 turns to kill her, which is really easy without actives 🙂

Stage 5: A similar approach as stage 3. Try not to use actives. The pre-evolved form of Marg has only 600k+ HP, which you should be able to finish off in a turn or 2. After she evolves, Hp will be at 1.2m+ HP, but being Light-based, this Dark team is able to kill her in 2 turns quite easily as well.

Stage 6: Final boss Diablo. Once you reach this stage with Daji active up it should be an easy 1-turn kill unless you do not have a set of 3 runes for every color. Try to stall and collect them all if that’s the case, but if not, congratulations :3

In all, this stage is fairly easy and perfectly farmable, though I suspect how much use a max skill level Diablo will be :/

Hope everyone has fun hunting this guy down! And do remember, if you can’t get it this time round, there’s always a next time. Many other teams can be used for this SM too, mostly teams with high multipliers (Beasts, Norse etc), or even the typical Babapp Dragon team (able to tank all the bosses’ attacks (and even the egg explosion), able to heal when needed due to presence of 2 Heart converters :D).
